In Windows NT/2000/XP DVD Data Rescue™ can be configured to use ASPI or SPTI (SCSI Pass Through Interface), By default SPTI is used. However, SPTI can occasionally cause compatibility problems with other drivers installed in the system.
If you experience problems, you can install the ASPI drivers, and after that select ASPI in the configuration utility "Windows NT/2000/XP configuration" ACONFIG.EXE .
You can finf it in the folder where DVD Data Rescue™ is installed, usually C:\program files\cddr. Simply press the "ASPI" button and then the OK button. The next time you start DVD Data Rescue ASPI will be used instead of SPTI.
To install the ASPI drivers, please go to http://www.naltech.com/aspi.htm and download the version of CD Data Rescue installer with the Adaptec ASPI drivers update (for windows 98,ME,NT,2000 and XP) , or install any valid ASPI drivers.
